Intrinsic HQ
The old warehouse that is now headquarters to Intrinsic Landscaping, the leading green roof contractor in the United States, required a complete renovation and conversion. The original building had lost the ability to meet the operational needs of its occupants. Peeling back the layers, UrbanLab determined what should be preserved and what needed wholesale updates. The result is a space, now under construction, in which industrial character plays off a new modern, ecological aesthetic. Intrinsic Landscaping will function more effectively with new office and conference spaces, a showroom, flexible spaces designed for multiple uses, a new approach to workplace organization, a massive storage warehouse and materials distribution center, and most strikingly, a new “living wall” green façade to showcase Intrinsic’s unique capabilities and vision.
